Apartment Set UP
With the generous donations we receive from the community, we can help great young men and women transition successfully to independence. Whether they are setting up their first apartment, ready to reunify with a parent, or fleeing domestic violence, we wrap around them as family to support and encourage them. Particularly vulnerable are transitional-aged youth (TAY) between 18-26 years old who have recently aged out of care. Managing all the challenges that come with a new place to live is overwhelming without support. Furniture items, kitchen and bathroom supplies, and other home goods are expenses that add up quickly. Without these extra financial stressors, the path to success can seem much more hopeful!
