Baby Showers
Our goal with baby showers is to provide a network of support and love for foster youth and foster alumni to help break the cycles they so desperately want to leave behind. Particularly vulnerable are the teens who are parenting a young child while they themselves were or still are in the foster care system, as 70% of teen girls in foster care will be pregnant before age 21. We strive to come alongside these girls and show them that they are not alone by hosting baby showers! Here these young moms not only receive costly physical resources for free, but they also have the chance to feel special and celebrated for the courageous decision of bringing a life into the world.
