Create a "Starter Kit"

A child can enter foster care at any time of the day or night. Imagine how alone and scared they feel! They typically have nothing with them except the clothes on their back. We create “Starter Kits” to ease their transition, comfort them, and provide basic necessities in the critical first hours as they enter a foster or group home.

Starter Kits can be created for a girl or a boy, and items should be purchased brand new. Items for individual kits (ages 0-12) should fit neatly inside a Sterilite 18 quart plastic bin (18 1/8 “ L x 12 1/4” W x 7”H). All items for individual kits (ages 12-17) should fit in the Sterilite 18 quart OR a Sterilite 30 quart plastic bin (18 1/8”L x 12 ”W x 11 ” H).
